Albany Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania
Albany Township is a township in Berks County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 1,724 at the 2010 census. The township hall is located in Kempton.
==Geography==
According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of , all of it land. It is in the Schuylkill watershed and the northern and western portions are on Blue Mountain. Its villages include Albany, Eckville, Greenawald, Kempton, Stony Run, and Trexler. Its numbered routes are 143 and 737, which ends on 143 in Kempton. East-west roads of note are Hawk Mountain Road/Stony Run Valley Road and Kistler Valley Road.
